Olympic Aquatic Center

The Olympic Aquatic Center was complete in 1991 and became a part of the facilities of the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens ‘Spiros Louis’. Two modern aquatic complexes, one outdoor and one indoor, were constructed in an area of 70 acres. Several major events have been hosted in the Olympic Aquatic Center, such as the Mediterranean and European Swimming Games of 1991. The main event, of course, remains the Aquatic tournament of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
